We are seeking to appoint a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for; forecasting our product demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that our supply chain operations run smoothly.

We produce and distribute over 300 veterinary medicines and are present in over 100 markets around the world servicing the needs of our customers in both the companion animal and livestock sectors. Our manufacturing and supply chain operations are located in France and Belgium. Our main production facility is located in Arques, in Northern France, and a second production and warehousing site is based in Arendonk, in the Northern part of Begium.
Description of position
This Demand Planner role is crucial for optimizing our inventory and meeting customer demand efficiently. The role will report to the Program Director and work closely with commercial, operations and production. This is a new role within our organisation. In the first instance the role will focus upon creating a customer-led forecasting process for the Inovet portfolio with a focus upon our products manufactured at the production unit in Arques, France. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the drive and desire to establish a new process and way of working within the Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and review demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input. Ensure accuracy and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather information and insights for demand planning.
• Communicate demand plans and inventory status to relevant stakeholders along with risks and opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Lead monthly Demand Reviews and support monthly S&OP process
• Analyse and report on demand trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Participate in Scenario planning creating solutions to mitigate risks and ensure exemplary customer service.
• Participate in the development of inventory management strategies.

The Demand Planner could be based in any of our Orion offices in Finland (Espoo) , Belgium (Arendonk) or in our production facility in France (Arques).
Description of Unit
As a recently formed business unit, we are ambitious and are in a real growth spurt. Hence, we require some extra talent to help us. As a part of our integration and future development we are seeking to introduce a new demand planning framework into our business model and subsequently align the process for the combined Animal Health Business Unit. In this role you will be asked to establish a new process, demonstrating your leadership skills working cross functionally to deliver improved customer service and operational efficiency.

Requirements
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications and experience level:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience with demand planning software and ERP systems. (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP) , as well as Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Change leadership skills to enable the successful introduction of new processes.
• Understanding of the regulatory requirements and industry standards in the pharmaceutical sector.
• A knowledge of English is essential, and a working knowledge of French would be beneficial.
