Your role and responsibilities
The Product Group Low Voltage System Drives offers a broad portfolio of high-performance, user-friendly and digitally enabled low voltage AC and DC drives to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions. Our customers rely on our products to drive demanding applications vital for industry and infrastructure. You will be working as a Global Business Development Manager for the Product Group Low Voltage System Drives. In this position you will be driving the Product Group’s business development function covering strategy, business planning and complex business development projects. You will have the possibility to deliver great results in a global business environment. In this role you will be reporting to the Global Product Group Manager and will be a member of the Global Product Group Management Team. The work model for the role is: hybrid ; LI-Hybrid The role is contributing to the Motion / System Drives Division globally. Preferable working location for the role is in one of the Low Voltage System Drives main locations (e.g. China, Finland, Germany, India or United States). Travelling is required 30-50% for this position. You will be mainly accountable for: • Driving and implementing global product group strategy by analyzing global and regional markets, customer segments, competitive moves, and supporting business plans. • Collaborating with the global product group management team and other stakeholders to ensure definition and follow-up of the strategy and business plans, as well as supporting the alignment and efficiency in strategy implementation and communication. • Spearheading business development projects and establishing metrics to monitor performance and strategic initiative progress. • Optimizing the use of global information (customer, competitor, financial, market) for effective business decision-making and market intelligence updates.Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in Business Development, Strategy or Project/Program Management in a large international organization or global management consulting firm.
- Proven track record in Business Development activities within a B2B environment.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Marketing.
- Technical understanding and background in a comparable industrial segment is preferred.
- Experience in Merger & Acquisition projects is an advantage.
- Strategical thinking, good analytical skills, cultural sensitivity.
- Good influencing and coordinating skills, ability to manage without authority.
- Self-motivated, proactive collaboration skills and solid stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
