Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a logistics coordinator to join our team in Rovaniemi for a temporary assignment of 24 months.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a truly international environment, expand your knowledge and gain valuable insights into international trade, powersports industry environment, and challenging logistics and shipping processes.

Your key responsibilities as logistics coordinator
- Coordinate & ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency in logistics operations
- Arrange and schedule transportations with the carriers with good follow-up
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to facilitate communication
- Address and resolve any issues, shipping delays, damaged goods or any discrepancies promptly
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Assist in preparation & management of different documents and invoices
- Participate in warehouse stock count activities, administration and reporting
- Continuously look for opportunities to optimize the supply chain and streamline processes
- Assist colleagues and provide backup when needed
- Fluent in English, with a good knowledge of Finnish
- Bachelor's degree or similar in Logistics or other relevant area
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Service minded and result oriented team player
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus
- Knowledge of SAP S4/ECC is considered a plus
This position is based in Rovaniemi.
