Manager, Strategy & Business Analysis
As Manager, Strategy & Business Analysis you will be part of the global Strategy & Marketing function and lead the company’s strategic planning process, related analyses, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with leadership and business lines across the organization, manage information, tools, and systems to share and present relevant information that provides strategic insights and enables timely data-based decision-making across the company.
The position is based in our head office in Espoo, Finland .

Manager, Strategy & Business Analysis
As Manager, Strategy & Business Analysis you will be part of the global Strategy & Marketing function and lead the company’s strategic planning process, related analyses, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with leadership and business lines across the organization, manage information, tools, and systems to share and present relevant information that provides strategic insights and enables timely data-based decision-making across the company.
The position is based in our head office in Espoo, Finland .
Key responsibilities:
Strategic planning
- Develop and manage company-wide strategic planning process in coordination with leadership team and business lines.
- Drive development of product, sales, and marketing strategies including analysis of target markets and competitive positioning for all SFW products and services.
- Lead strategy workshops with relevant stakeholders.
- Lead assigned corporate strategic initiatives.
Market intelligence
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather data, analyze, and prepare presentations on key trends, drivers, and developments of SFW’s global operating environment to support strategic planning, business analysis, marketing activities, and SFW's reporting.
- Develop and manage sources of information and data channels such as government, industry groups, clients, external market research firms, and competitors.
- Scan market for new opportunities in coordination with respective business lines.
Business analysis
What do we expect from you?
- Oversee and manage common tools/platforms such as market intelligence and information sharing to continuously improve user experience in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support financial modelling activities to analyze economic feasibility and competitiveness of different technologies, integrated value propositions and business models, including development of modeling tools and data sources.
- Support business development activities to drive future sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with 5+ years’ experience in management consulting, strategy, business development, or related. Minimum 3 years in the energy industry is required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complexity. Hands-on experience of developing complex spreadsheet models.
- Strong skills in preparing and delivering effective presentations.
- Deep knowledge of the energy industry. Knowledge about SFW products and services is a benefit.
- Experience of working with diverse teams to energize, inspire creativity, and gaining concrete results.
- Sound business and financial acumen.
- Team player and self-driven to take initiatives and quickly self-learn.
- Fluency in English
