We are now seeking a Material Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting new projects. This position is located in our headquarters in Pirkkala, Finland.

As a Material Research Engineer, you will:

• Participate in tire compound development projects tailored to diverse customers and applications
• Conduct in-depth research on raw materials used in tire compounds
• Develop sustainable raw material solutions for tire compounds
• Collaborate with our laboratory team to develop and improve compound testing and analysis methods
• Document and report your work and findings fluently and accurately
• Create new solutions and innovations to enhance tire quality and production processes
• Work closely with international customers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration

Our expectations:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• A collaborative attitude and a team-oriented approach
• An innovative mindset, with a passion for creating new solutions
• A commitment to continuous improvement and quality enhancement
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel for work

Previous experience on tire technology or materials is an advantage as well as working in international environments.
