We are looking for a photographer to support our marketing team in creating compelling content for our company based in Rovaniemi, Finland.
Duration of the agreement:
Start as soon as possible and last for 6 months to 1 year, possible to prolong the contract.
Part-time position / Full time position
Responsibilities
Study photo briefs, work closely with our marketing team to develop concepts, determine requirements and schedule projects;
Work with the operations and marketing teams to plan photo shoots;
Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and backgrounds to meet specifications;
Direct participants and models;
Shooting poses that don't look posed;
Capture and edit images to achieve desired results;
Capture and edit images of clients during photo tours;
Continually improve image quality using a variety of editing techniques;
Use and maintain technical equipment (cameras, lenses, etc.);
Archive photographs and maintain photographic database;
Archive video and maintain video database;
Maintain a thorough understanding of photographic best practice and procedures;
Assist the Social Media Manager with content creation;
Support the marketing team in creating an inspiring visual identity for the brand;
Establish guidelines for Northern Lights photography, provide basic training for guide photographers and ensure consistent results.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in the photo industry OR 3 years as a freelancer;
DSLR and natural lighting skills;
Experience of Northern Lights photography is a huge plus;
Experience of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Lightroom;
Experience working with Mac computers;
Video editing skills are a plus;
Ability to fly a drone is a plus;
Excellent communication skills;
High standards of creative output;
Basic social media skills (especially Instagram);
Ability to resize images and colour settings for web and social media.
