We´re now looking for a Product Manager to Business Unit Commodities Retail, Customer & Solution Region Nordic!
Commodities Retail is one of four departments within BU Commodities. As a Product Manager you will be a part of a Nordic team and work in close cooperation with Consumer Sales in Finland.
The main responsibility as a Product Manager is to ensure our products are meetings the demands of the customers, the market and the legislator. The product portfolio consists of electricity products, environmental products and other additional services to electricity contracts. Your closest stakeholders will be the Consumer Sales, other Commodities departments, controlling, IT, Customer Service, and several other functions within Vattenfall. Stakeholder management is important part of your role. You report directly to the Head of Commodities Retail.
As Product Manager you will ensure that the product portfolio is technically and legally up-to-date. In practice, this means that you will have the ownership of the product maintenance and actively participate in product development. Legal compliance of the products, related processes and terms and conditions are strongly in focus in this role. You constantly try to find ways to improve our processes and ways of working and can challenge the status-quo when needed.
Your main deliverables:
- Ensuring the product portfolio and product-related processes are in line with legal requirements
- Maintenance of terms and conditions of the product portfolio
- Documentation of product-related processes and ways of working
- Successful coordination of product development and maintenance processes
- Driving the technical product development and managing stakeholders throughout the process
- Ensuring that future changes in legislation and regulations are applied to all products and necessary processes in due time
Qualifications
- Academic degree in business administration, science, finance or equivalent.
- Experience from the energy sector is beneficial, but most important is a genuine interest in the market and a strong attitude to deliver the expected results.
- Good understanding of product management, business development and related processes.
- Knowledge of working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Interest in the legal landscape of the business.
- Very good command of English and Finnish, both verbally and in writing.
