We are now looking for Research Engineer for 2D-material process development

With a strong background in cleanroom process integration. You identify and solve problems independently and creatively, while working closely and flexibly with a team of experts. You focus on the optimization and fabrication aspects of the 2d-material process modules. You understand the big picture and participate in the concept development.
Our team develops advanced semiconductor nanocomponents focused on beyond CMOS applications such as CMOS integrated graphene biodetectors, in-memory neuromorphic computing, and post-CMOS 3D integration. The developments are made in close collaboration with our academic partners along the lines agreed with our industrial partners. We are looking 2D-material research engineer to develop process modules together with the researchers.

Your responsibilities as Research Engineer:

• Cleanroom process characterization and optimization for 2D-material processes.
• Developing robust process modules for 2D-material pilot-line.
• Communicating and solving the problems in tight collaboration with others at VTT.

Who we are looking for:

• You have a BSc or MSc in physics, chemistry, electronics, or closely similar field.
• You have experience in cleanroom fabrication.
• Excellent communications skills in English are required.
