This expansion calls for the professionalization of our risk management and insurance efforts, and we are seeking a dedicated Risk and Insurance Specialist to play a pivotal role in this transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Risk and Insurance Specialist at GPV you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders such as managers on the local sites, multiple internal functions, insurance companies and brokers as well as our parent company Schouw & Co. Your responsibilities will include operational and strategic tasks such as:

Manage the global insurance programs:
- Prepare and conduct renewals in collaboration with our parent company, insurance broker and internal stakeholders
- Ensure proper implementation of new insurance program globally
- Advise local stakeholders on insurance matters including claim handling, coverage, conditions etc. Develop and continuously improve solid and transparent processes for insurance matters including internal charging, cost follow up etc.

Manage global credit insurance program:
- Develop and enhance our global insurance program
- Monitor and challenge sales organisation and local sites in the most efficient use of credit insurance
- Develop and continuously develop efficient processes for credit management Support sales organisation and local sites with sharing best practices, specific case handling etc.

Risk management:
- Increase our global risk awareness mindset
- Monitor, challenge and support the local and global efforts to identify and mitigate risks (operational and strategic)
- Prepare recurring risk reporting to GPV Executive Leadership Team, local management and other relevant stakeholders
- Contributing to the development and execution of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes
You will be part of the newly established Compliance & Risk Management team, collaborating closely with VP for Compliance & Risk Management and colleagues in Denmark and Switzerland. Despite our global reach, our HQ in Vejle fosters an informal environment, where professionals from various levels interact regularly. Some travel is expected (2-4 times annually).
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Strong experience in insurance, credit insurance, risk management and finance
- Experience in an international company
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills and focus on close collaboration with many stakeholders
- Ability to manage and prioritize a wide variety of tasks in different areas
- Passion for both operational and strategic work
