SEB’s division Large Corporates and Financial Institutions (LC&FI) offers talented students an exciting opportunity to work with banking and finance during the summer. As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to learn about banking and gain a thorough understanding of SEB’s business in Finland and abroad. About the role

As a summer intern in FICC Risk Advisory, you will be part of a professional team serving SEB’s large corporate and financial institutions clientele in Finland. Your responsibilities include for example following the financial markets, identifying trends and modelling different market risk scenarios. You will also be looking into risk management practices across industries, helping put together peer reviews and risk analysis.

You will have the possibility to learn about a wide range of financial products and services and be well positioned to thoroughly understand corporate and institutional banking from a financial markets standpoint.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

Curious attitude, and natural interest towards financial markets and banking
Excellent social and collaboration skills
Great communication skills, both written and spoken, in Finnish and English
Analytical skills combined with a good knowledge of excel and preferably coding (VBA, Python)

Previous experience in financial markets, particularly FX products is considered an advantage, but not a necessity.
