Your role in our team
- as a Service Technician at WITRON, you handle various maintenance, service and repair tasks with the automation system, and report the work to the maintenance system
- your main tasks include, for example, monitoring the automation equipment, (electrical and mechanical) fault diagnosis and repairs during production, as well as proactive maintenance
- you work with e.g. lifts, conveyors and other warehouse automation
- we train you comprehensively to all your tasks and WITRON’s equipment during our several weeks’ basic training period
Ideal candidate profile
- previous experience in the field of technology and studies in electricity, mechanics and/or automation
- readiness to work in continuous 3-shift (current rotation: two morning shifts 6-14, two evening shifts 14-22, two night shifts 22-6, four days off)
- good physical condition
- ability to work on high levels and different temperature areas: the logistics center is automated from floor to top, and maintenance work is done on different levels – sometimes even in 24 meters, climbing with harness – so if you have a fear of hights, this isn’t probably the place for you. The logistics center delivers dry groceries, fruit, vegetables as well as fresh and frozen products, so we work on temperature areas between +22 to -24 degrees.
- English skills (oral and written) – our team is international
