SW Engineer

We are now looking for a SW Engineer specified to AI/ML model development for CNN to our team in Tampere, Finland. You will be working in Architecture & Specification team in System-on-Chip Development Unit. Our team is responsible for defining and driving best in class So C technologies, IPs and architectures for Nokia wireless network So Cs. We work in close co-operation with product management, other development units, and build the future with Nokia Bell Labs research organization.
The role consists of following main tasks:
- ML IP specific model development – fixed point training and optimization
- Dynamic parameter definition
- Support to production
- Developing modeling tooling and practices
- Role may consist also defining use cases and developing exploration models
You have:
- Experience of ML model topics- graphs, operations, training, QAT
- Understanding of The Convolutional Neural Networks and basic deep learning algorithms
- Experience in some of following: Python/Numpy/Tensor Flow/Py Torch/Keras/C/C++/Matlab
- Understanding of digital signal processing
- Practical understanding of mobile networks domain and radio access technologies, preferably familiar with L1 processing (3GPP)
- Open mind, willingness to learn and mentor others
