Founded in 2003, Munax has built its success around innovation, high food safety and responsibility. Today, Munax is the leading supplier of shell eggs and processed, pasteurized egg products in Finland. We operate also in the export business. We employ approximately 115 employees and our turnover in 2023 was approximately €60 million. Munax Oy is a part of the Danish DANAEG group, which has operations in Denmark, Finland and in Sweden. We produce our products in Finland, from eggs from Finnish family farms. Our eggs and egg products can be found in retail stores, food service and as ingredients in several food products.
After our appreciated colleague is moving to a new career phase outside of Munax we are seeking now a
Technical Manager
to have overall responsibility for the technical development of our factories in Laitila, Mynämäki and Kustavi.
In this role you are expected to create a long-term layout and technical development plan of our sites, which is aligned with our strategy. You will lead our investment projects as a right hand of our Deputy MD and Head of Production. If needed, you'll use the external service providers for design phase.
At the same time, you will provide the leadership for our 2 maintenance team leaders, one in Laitila and one in Mynämäki-Kustavi. On the area of maintenance, we would like to get more professional level in our way of working: systematic planning, set goals, follow-up and related rewards. This requires focus on employees and change leadership. Focus on people is important also for the stakeholder management perspective. Maintenance is internal service provider where intensive collaboration with factory managers and other specialist is natural part of the role. We work in the business where we have high level hygienia regulations due to the animal safety and food safety. Therefore, it is beneficial if you have similar experience. You have also a budget responsibility of the department.

In this role it would help if you have
1.Degree on some area of Technology
2.Proven track record of driving technical development
3.Experience of change management in maintenance in mature organizations
4.Good knowledge on relevant legislation and standards in Finland
5.English skills
