We are now looking for a Trainee to join our Learning and Development team fixed-term until August 2025!
In VTT's Learning & development team we believe that continuous learning is the key to VTT's success and a strong motivation factor for VTTers. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of growth, innovation and excellence. We build and develop learning practices as well as plan and implement learning offerings that align with our business goals and employee development needs. We are also responsible for onboarding, goal and development dialogue as well as engagement survey processes.

In our team you are at the forefront of shaping our employees' learning journey. The main focus of your position is to support implementation of our trainings with high quality. From time to time you also participate in facilitating internal onboarding and other sessions. You´ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable inspiring learning offerings for VTTers.

We are primarily seeking someone to work with us full-time, but during the academic semester, we can agree on a reduced workload, for example, 80%.

In this position, you will:

• Collaborate with with colleagues to organise impactful training events, modules and workshops - in-person, hybrid and online. This includes e.g. managing enrollments, scheduling the events, communicating with participants and training partners, internal communication of the training and other learning opportunities, and collecting feedback.
• Participate in coordinating the activities on our e Learning platform.
• Coordinate and organise onboarding events with colleagues.
• Promote and communicate about our trainings and other development solutions on the intranet and other internal channels.
• Collaborate with external service providers in training coordination.
• Participate in other continuous learning initiatives with team colleagues.

Who we are looking for:

You

• have a genuine interest in and some experience of organisational learning and development through studies and/or work experience
• are digitally savvy and able to quickly learn to master new digital tools
• are a master's student in a relevant field, e.g. adult education, psychology or business administration
• have strong communication skills both in both Finnish and English.

• experience on using e Learning tools and learning management systems
