We are looking for a skilled professional to join our global team in Oulu. We have an immediate opening for

Trainee – SW Testing
Your main areas of responsibility would be on supporting SW testing, FW/SW integration testing and system quality assurance activities for the product development. Daily duties includes test planning, testcase development, test execution, result analyzing and reporting according to project targets and specific assignments. You will be a member of DT’s CI & QA team as contributing to high quality products through high quality testing solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone

• Who is a student in computer engineering, or equivalent
• Interest, studied or already experienced with SW development, testing or other relevant experience

• Who is interested in SW, testing or embedded systems
• Who is eager to learn new
• Who is able and willing to search solving propositions for problems
• Who can create documentation and reports in English

It would be great if you

• Have a basic understanding of digital imaging systems and/or measurement systems and techniques

• Have some experience in designing and implementing software integration with hardware, testing SW or Electronics

• Have basic skills in any scripting languages (like python) and having basic understanding of C/C++
• Have hands on experience from building HW (e.g. Raspberry PI or some customized application)
• Like to test behavior of any GUI Software
Have studied or used some of the following: Python, Qt, C++, Robot Framework, Jira, Confluence, Spira Test, TCP/IP, UDP, Windows, Ubuntu, Rocky Os, Debian, Mac Os, Docker, Integration testing, UX testing, git, Gitlab, Jenkins, RDP, Xvfb, Virtualbox, Wireshark
