Volvo Car Finland is part of Europe region, one of three stand-alone regions within Volvo Cars globally. We work closely with our markets to know our customers and offer them the best possible experience.
We are the second most sold new car brand in Finland and the most sold electric car. We have also been elected as the most valued car brand in Finland for four years in a row from 2020 onwards.
At Volvo Car Finland you get to join our Business & Retailer Development team of 8 dedicated and highly skilled professionals, working to develop our business and retailers. You will be responsible for planning and developing trainings and ensure the needed competence to support our retailer network to offer excellent customer experience. Training Specialist – this is what you’ll do
We are a flat organization with a can-do attitude, and we act as a strong team to enable the business to be successful. We take responsibility not only for our own areas but for cross-collaboration.
- Planning and development of technical trainings to the retailer network (commercial and service business) together with different training partners
- Ensuring needed technical and process related competence will be implemented according to Volvo’s standards
- Analyze training needs and developing suitable trainings to ensure the competence what is needed to offer high quality customer experience in Volvo retailer network
- Developing the co-operation with education institutions
- Follow-up competence levels and training needs
- Administration of training systems and platforms
- Projects related to competence and training
- Working closely with other teams across the wider organization to ensure seamless communication.
You will be part of our national sales company and work closely with your colleagues inhouse, in our Europe region and last, but not least, our retailers, and thereby get introduced to several projects enabling our transformation.
We’re looking for you!
Your job will involve balancing multiple stakeholders so we expect that you are a strong collaborator, who can manage both external and internal stakeholders. You understand the importance of not only managing the projects but also getting your hands dirty, hence we would like you to have a structured approach and the ability to follow up and follow through. You can work independently, which is important since we have introduced hybrid work. You are passionate about helping people and working collaboratively with a positive attitude. You can stay calm under pressure with an organized nature and strong attention to detail.
You will also have strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to champion new initiatives. We highly value your skills in working with different stakeholders and providing actions according to the needs you have found based on analyze. You master verbal and written communication in Finnish as well as English to work intensively together on a professional level with both external and internal stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, Automotive, Engineering, Mechatronics, or relevant education or experience
- Extensive experience in the conception and implementation of technical and human interaction training
- Computing & analytical skills; MS Word, MS Power Point & MS Excel
- You should be able to display strong analytical skills and the ability to provide proactive insights as well as recommendations for changes
- Availability to travel in Finland
If you have previously worked in the automotive industry that is an advantage, but we would just as much like to hear from you if you are simply attracted by the truly exciting journey we are on.
Experience in working with technical and human interaction trainings and co-operation with educational institutions is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
