Our legal department is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide legal services to our Operations & Services Department, covering the Construction, Maintenance and the Distribution activities across the Voltalia group.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced commercial / contracts lawyer to join a successful and growing renewable energy business, supporting our green energy international vision and mission.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide generalist support for the company's legal requirements; drafting letters, policies, contract templates and legal documents; ensuring accurate legal advice is given and that procedures are followed as per current local legislative and statutory compliance

• Keep up to date with changes and developments in case law, contract law, liability, public procurement, local legislation, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years of proven experience minimum
• Experience in Projects (Construction & Maintenance)
• Strong knowledge of contract law and construction law
• Good knowledge and experience of common law
• Command of French or Portuguese appreciated
• Proficiency in English
