We are currently seeking a Corporate PR Manager to join our French PR team and help us participate in the public debate and inform about Apple, the values that drive our company and its positive contribution locally. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading activities with media and content creators in the country to manage the company’s corporate reputation in France and help communicate Apple’s contribution locally, focused on key areas such as our economic contribution, culture and education, customer privacy, and environmental leadership. The role requires an ability to think strategically and to execute activations with a high attention to details. It also requires a proven ability to anticipate, manage and mitigate PR issues, working closely with local and global teams.

Description

This role will help devise and execute global communications initiatives that resonate with the local audience. Reporting to the Head of PR for South Europe (France, Italy and Spain), responsibilities will include strategic planning and execution, identifying and managing issues in a fast-paced environment and continuous news cycle. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the wider management team in the region and also be tightly coordinating with the European Corporate Communications team to support and drive understanding of Apple’s values.

• You have extensive experience in media relations and have developed a strong network of high-level media and content creators contacts in France and beyond.
• Demonstrable experience in PR, with exposure to corporate and consumer communications from agency &/or in-house background.
Fluency in French and English required.

• Great experience working in a highly regulated environment and with government affairs, legal and business governance teams.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work on complex topics.
• Ability to create PR activations and deliver results by reaching mainstream audiences.
• Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.
