Global Key Account Manager - Personal Care Europe

Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Global Key Account Manager to join our Ashland commercial team in Europe. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Personal Care team. This position will report to the Strategic Account Team leader, Personal Care Europe

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Delivering a business plan for the assigned global key account and direct accounts in the region
  • Implement global and regional strategy and drive voice to market for Ashland’s Core portfolio
  • Ownership and steering of customer partnerships
  • Partner with global marketing, ensuring timely new products introduction to achieve target of NPI sales
  • Proactively seeking information about Customers strategy and product launches
  • Coordinating activities related to the projects with the Customer on the products application and development.
  • Closely cooperating with Technical Experts to make sure project meets Customer needs.
  • Providing accurate quarterly and monthly sales forecast
  • Handling Customers product quality and regulatory requirements

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales positions gained at a chemical business handling personal and home care products
  • In-depth understanding of the care industry, key market players, trends, strategies
  • Proven ability to create strong relationships with customers
  • Strong sales execution skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience leading an indirect team of reports and driving strategy development and adoption
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and function in ambiguity
