About the Job:
We are recruiting for a Head of It to lead and manage the Op Co IT team to ensure effective delivery of IT services to meet business demands and in alignment with the Regional IT Strategy. Successful candidate would report to the Regional IT Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivery:
  • Work with the Regional IT Director in the development of the Op Co tactical and operational plans in line with IT strategy and manage the effective execution of those.
  • Manage the Op Co IT end-user support and Opco application services to meet business needs within SLA.
  • Collaborate with central IT teams (Operations + Application) to meet business needs within SLA and KPI's.
  • Procurement of IT hardware and resources compliant with Op Co IT budget and regional procurement guidelines.

Customer:
  • Act as a first escalation point for Opco IT matters.
  • Build a relationship with Opco SMT and BU managers to understand Opco IT demand and to feed this into the central teams.
  • Be the ambassador of IT to internal customers, maintain a strong understanding of the customer needs in order to deliver customer solution and benefits and effectively represent regional IT team.
  • Take initiatives to increase the Op Co end-user satisfaction about IT services.

Systems / Technology:
  • Ensure effective IT support for local Op Co applications and end user services.
  • Validate that Op Co IT systems are configured and used compliant with regional guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure correct and up to date Opco IT asset database.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Seek opportunities to continually enhance and develop the IT / business processes, services and solutions.
  • Seek opportunities to decrease IT costs and improve IT partner performance.

Project Management:
  • Partner with the Transformation PMO team, leveraging the central toolkit to ensure delivery of local Op Co projects in time, budget and scope.
  • When needed, take on the role of Project manager for Op Co IT projects.

Governance and Controls:
  • Identify and manage Cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategy for the Op Co and participate in the EU IT risk assessment group.

Team Management:
  • Deliver the IT people proposition to drive motivated and engaged team members as measured through the people survey.
  • Set team and individual objectives and manage resources to achieve IT goals and team priorities.
  • Drive effective performance management, coaching and personal development for all team members so that each individual achieves their full potential.
  • Deliver engaging team and individual communication ensuring regular weekly team briefings and cascade on IT leadership communications.

QUALIFICATONS:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in IT, with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing IT infrastructure, applications, and processes within a comparable environment, consistently meeting timelines and budgets.
  • Proven track record of exercising effective personal leadership influence within a team and across a Senior Management Team (SMT) population.
  • Previous experience in a logistics environment is essential.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL (additional certification is a plus).
  • Competent in project management.
  • Strong skills in people and vendor management.
  • Demonstrates a connected approach through effective communication, openness, and customer focus.
  • Exhibits commitment through reliability, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Possesses creative attributes such as a proactive mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and adept problem-solving skills.
