Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and procedures for battery products
- Conduct testing on battery products to determine performance, safety, and reliability
- Analyze test results and identify defects and deviations from expected behavior
- Identify potential battery defects and propose solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance
- Escalate issues to management when necessary
- Maintain the testing lab and equipment
- Keep up to date with technical advancements in the battery industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as battery testing engineer
- Comprehensive knowledge of Li-ion battery technology
- Experience in conducting battery qualification tests, reliability tests, and performance tests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry test standards
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python and MATLAB, is a plus
