Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepare, maintain, and audit the internal monthly management accounts
· Input accounting data in the accounting system
· Check accounting entries with supporting documents i.e. purchase invoices, shipping documents
· Conduct and interpret variance analysis on a monthly basis
· Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing within prescribed deadlines
· Filing of all related monthly accounting data and supporting documentation
· Assist with internal and external audit process
· Assist with monthly VAT declaration
· Preparation of balance confirmation
· Demonstrate full professional skills and knowledge and will be both a trusted advisor on a particular topic and be able to develop company procedures and methods
· Uses analytical skills to develop solutions to non-routine problems
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Business level of fluency in both English and Chinese is essential
· PC skills (especially advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP system)
· Attention to Detail and good time management skills
· Ability to work to strict deadline
· Presents complex thoughts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
· Ability to determine major objectives and how to implement
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting or related discipline.
· At least two years of Financial Accountant experience required in a German company
