We’re seeking an intern to join our product team in developing a forward-thinking climate resilience solution. This role is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a DAX-40 company, working on innovative projects within a dynamic, international team. If you’re passionate about climate risk assessment and eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you! Your assignment will ideally begin in January 2025 for a full-time commitment of 4–6 months.
Your Job
- Support the product team to develop a new climate risk resilience solution
- Explore how climate risks endanger different economic activities and sectors
- Research adaptation measures to mitigate climate risks and develop a concept to quantify the efficiency of measures
- Align your work and coordinate with adjacent projects
- Develop an approach to consider different vulnerabilities and adaptation measures in climate risk modelling
- Collaborate with the product discovery team to design a product concept and mock-ups for the new solution
Your Profile
- You are about to complete your bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or (climate) physics or a comparable study
- Strong analytical skills, ideally experience in climate risk resilience analysis and climate risk modelling
- Knowledge of climate risks, vulnerability and adequate adaptation measures is a plus
- An enthusiastic and efficient researcher
- Reliable and independent working style
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics and technologies
