About the team:
We are strengthening our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Cooperation team at our headquarter in Friedrichshafen or at any other ZF-Location Germany-wide.

What you can look forward to as Director (m/f/d) Mergers & Acquisitions:

• Development of strategic concepts, decision papers and presentations for the ZF Board of Management (Bo M) and Division Management
• Implementation of strategic objectives of the Group in close coordination with the Board of Management and the Heads of Divisions and Business Units
• Management and coordination of complex global mergers, acquisitions, divestments and co-operations and related tasks, including due diligence, negotiation, contract arrangement, and integration- or carve-out-support, planning and execution
• Preparation of business analyses, feasibility studies, budgeting, target operating models, simulations, LBO and company valuations
• Project cost- / Investment management and controlling
• Development and management of relationships with internal and external partners, and transaction advisory firms

Your profile as Director (m/f/d) Mergers & Acquisitions:

• Above-average masters degree in economics or industrial engineering with very good business and, if possible, legal knowledge and technical understanding
• Several years of professional experience in M&A as a transaction manager
• Conceptual, analytical, structured, flexible and very independent way of thinking and working
• High level of social competence, empathy and judgment, teamwork, communication and leadership skills
• Assertiveness, ability to deal with criticism and conflict
• Very good, business fluent written and spoken German and English, ideally other foreign languages
• High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel frequently at home and abroad
