The opportunity
We're currently looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in order to advise our prospects from their first contact with Polestar up to order placement and establish sustainable customer relationships. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed.
Our Inside Sales Team consults prospects and customers on all questions regarding the Polestar brand, our products, e-mobility in general, test-drives and the order process.
This position is located at our office in the heart of Cologne, Germany. We thereby believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

The responsibilities
In this role, you'll be expected to familiarize potential customers with the Polestar brand and products in order to build and maintain sustainable customer relationships. You will proactively contact prospects after the test drive to gather feedback and offer consultation during the sales process. Working as a member of the Inside Sales Team you'll be instrumental in achieving Polestars ambitious goals and growth plans.   • Outbound communication with potential customers via phone, mail and virtual meetings.
  • Advising and guiding potential customers through the online ordering process for their Polestar.
  • You will work closely with internal teams and our Spaces to provide a seamless experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, you should have a hands-on attitude and the personal drive and determination to develop Polestar's customer experience. You enjoy dealing with customers and have very good communication skills and an engaging, customer-oriented manner. You work independently, organized and conscientiously and are enthusiastic about e-mobility and the automotive industry in general.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
  • Relevant professional experience in sales and working with customers (Automotive experience is a plus)
  • Strong digital capabilities and knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce experience is an advantage)
  • Fluent German- and proficient English skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in virtual meetings and phone calls
  • Strong sensitivity for individual customer needs
