Work on real projects and tasks within our Sales department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany
>> Starting from November 2024 or later - Minimum of 6 months (possible prolongation for up to 12 months).


The Requirements:
For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.

Your mission:
As an intern, you will work on real projects that make a difference within our Product department. You’ll support the Cross Carline Connected Car team in various core tasks, including competitor analysis, market briefings, and daily operational support, all in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your tasks:


Market research competitor analysis

• Conduct research on the field of Telematics, Connected Services, Features on Demand.
  
• Comparing and gathering information about the entire HMI (Human Machine Interface) in the car: Screens, Cluster, Head-up Displays, buttons, etc.
  
• Search proactively for potential business partners, suppliers across Europe.
  
• Support in creating our internal newsletter with latest industry news and announcements.
  

Feature development

• Analyze existing market and consumer studies about connectivity and create comprehensive overviews.
  
• Seek for new trends in the connectivity area and create short reports.
  
• Support the development and the proposal of new connected features.
  
• Monitor product performance using key metrics and gather customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  

Project Coordination

• Planning and organizing internal test drives with competitor cars / vans.
  
• Conduct surveys, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  

Your talents:

Education:

• Bachelor or Master student in a business or engineering related field, automotive area as advantage but not a must.
  
• Ideally you already have experience from previous internships in automotive companies, consulting or start-ups.
  

Skills:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point) and familiar with tools like Java, Confluence, Jira, and Tableau.
  
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for product discovery and delivery.
  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  
• Interest in cars, digitalization, and connectivity.
  
• Capability to work within a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and result-oriented organization.
  
• Driving license (class B, eligibility to drive in Germany).
