ÜBERGEORDNTETER ZWECK DER TÄTIGKEIT
Die Position umfasst die Betreuung der IT-Infrastruktur am Standort Nordenham als 1st- und 2nd-Level-Support. Ggf. später Remote Support der Deutschen Standorte. Hauptaufgaben sind die Implementierung und Integration von IT-Systemen, die Überwachung von Projekten, das Lebenszyklusmanagement von IT-Komponenten sowie die Zuarbeit zur Budgetplanung. Zudem beinhaltet die Rolle die Koordination externer Dienstleister und die Beratung und Schulung von Endanwendern.
WICHTIGE PFLICHTEN UND VERANTWORTLICHKEITEN
  • Betreuung der IT-Infrastruktur und Support am Standort Nordenham,1st und 2nd Level Support (ITIL-basiert) - Troubleshooting Software und Hardware
  • Remote Support der deutschen Standorte innerhalb der Region Central Eastern Europe (CEE).
  • Implementierung und Design von ICT-Systemkonzepten (Hard- und Software einschließlich Netzwerken, Datenbanken, Einsatz von Betriebssystemen, etc.) im Rahmen einer vorgegebenen Corporate ICT-Strategie und Government.
  • Integration von Anwendungen in die bestehende Systemumgebung.
  • Sicherstellung des Lebenszyklusmanagements von vernetzten Komponenten.
  • Bereitstellung von Daten zur IT-CAPEX- und OPEX-Planung (Budget) für den Standort Nordenham und den Projektbüros in Bayreuth und Würzburg.
  • Überwachung, Umsetzung und Verfolgung von Projekten sowie Analyse, Design und Einrichtung neuer Systeme weltweit in der Prysmian Group.
  • Koordination von externen Dienstleistern, Analyse möglicher Lösungen für die Implementierung und Verhandlung des Leistungsumfangs mit Systemanbietern und internen Spezialisten.
  • Mitwirkung an regionalen IT-Infrastruktur-Aktivitäten/Projekten.
  • Beratung, Unterstützung und Schulung von Endanwendern.
  • Pflege von Dokumentationen und Wissensdatenbanken für wiederkehrende Probleme und Lösungen.
QUALIFIKATIONEN & ERFAHRUNGEN
  • Abgeschlossenes Bachelor-Studium in Informatik, Informationssystemen oder eine abgeschlossene IT-Berufsausbildung z. B. zum Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) Systemintegration, IT-Systemkaufmann (m/w/d) oder IT-Systemelektroniker (m/w/d).
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in der IT-Infrastrukturunterstützung/-administration oder als IT-Systemelektroniker.
  • Erfahrung im 1st- und 2nd-Level-IT-Support, mit Schwerpunkt auf der schnellen und professionellen Fehlerbehebung bei komplexen IT-Problemen.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Microsoft-Betriebssystemen (Windows 11, Server 2022), Microsoft 365 & Intune, CISCO-Netzwerken, Forti Net VPN-Clients und Firewalls.
  • (Gute) Kenntnisse in Service Now und SAP.
  • Kenntnisse von Remote-Support-Tools wie SCCM und Remote Desktop.
  • Kenntnisse von Datenbank- oder Netzwerktechnologien (z. B. SQL-Server, Oracle oder Netzwerktechnologien wie Cisco-Hardware oder VMware) sind von Vorteil.
  • Erfahrung in Vo IP/IP-Telefonie, Netzwerken und cloudbasierten Kommunikationssystemen ist von Vorteil.
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
  • Hervorragende Kommunikations- und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten, mit einer kundenorientierten Einstellung.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE
The position involves managing the IT infrastructure at the Nordenham site and providing 1st- and 2nd-level support for the Central Europe region. The main tasks include the implementation and integration of IT systems, project monitoring, lifecycle management of IT components, and budget planning. The role also includes the coordination of external service providers and the consultation and training of end users.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1st and 2nd Level Support (ITIL-based): Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Remote support CEE locations, focusing on efficient problem-solving and user guidance.
  • Implement and design ICT system concepts (hardware and software including networks, databases, use of operating systems, etc.) within the framework of a given corporate ICT strategy and government.
  • Integration of applications in the existing system environment.
  • Management of ICT system projects, including operating system and software updates, as well as the lifecycle management of all hardware devices, including network components.
  • Supervise, implement, and follow up projects, as well as analyze, design, and set-up of new systems worldwide in the Group.
  • Coordinate external service providers, possible solutions for implementation and negotiation of scope of services with system providers and internal specialists.
  • Contribute to regional IT infrastructure activities / projects.
  • Provide data on IT CAPEX and OPEX (budget) planning for NSW and PPG and report on project progress and system performance directly to the IT infrastructure lead.
  • Act as the focal point for IT requests and ensure smooth user experiences by advising and training end-users.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge bases for recurring issues and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support/administration or as an IT systems electronics technician.
  • Proven experience in 1st and 2nd level IT support, with a focus on troubleshooting complex IT issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 11, Server 2022), Microsoft 365 & Intune, CISCO Network, Forti Net VPN Client and Firewall.
  • Knowledge of Service Now and SAP.
  • Knowledge of remote support tools like SCCM and Remote desktop.
  • Knowledge of database or networking tools (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, or networking tools like Cisco hardware or VMware) will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in Vo IP/IP telephony, networking, and cloud-based communication systems will be considered a plus.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
