In this position, you work within our hybrid model “Flexible” . You will be one or two fixed or flexible days on site, the other days remotely. Get all information here .

What you can expect in this role

• You design and develop Java applications with Spring Boot, creating scalable microservices that integrate smoothly with our cloud infrastructure
• Making architectural decisions, such as selecting between Lambda and ECS or RDS and Dynamo DB, is a key part of your role
• Your code, crafted locally, is deployed to AWS with precision, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Additionally, you use containerization with Docker and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation for efficient cloud deployment
• You troubleshoot and fine-tune applications in the cloud, utilizing tools like Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail for effective monitoring and logging

Your essential experience and education

• You have a solid background in Java development, with a focus on building applications using Spring Boot
• Your understanding of AWS services guides you in making the best architectural decisions for our projects
• You have experience with deploying locally developed code to AWS, ensuring compatibility and performance
• Modern Dev Ops skills are showcased by your knowledge in Docker and infrastructure
• You are adept at debugging and fixing applications in the cloud, maintaining high standards of performance and user experience
