Legal Counsel (m/f/d) Global Legal, Compliance, Privacy + IP with US background and bar examination

As a Legal Counsel Global Contracts Pharmaceuticals LLC based in Frankfurt Germany, your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements along the entire value chain of a pharmaceutical company for global contracts of our affiliate Merz Pharmaceuticals LLC

Provide business-focused and reliable legal advice to internal stakeholders on various topics, such as clinical studies, marketing and medical projects and the release of promotional and medical material

Identify and analyze legal risks, and develop and implement legally and economically sound solutions to mitigate them in relation to the business relationship with our US subsidiary

Identify training needs among business stakeholders and develop and present training and education on relevant legal topics
-
Collaborate with the tax department on intercompany contracts and restructuring projects
-
Coordinate and manage external counsel as required for advice across various jurisdictions
-
Coorporate closely with the US Legal Department
YOUR PROFILE
Fully qualified US Lawyer
-
Several years of experience in an international law firm or industry, ideally in a pharmaceutical company
- Team player with intercultural competence, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of commercial and contract law, preferably knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical law
Expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ideally German as well
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to present complex issues to various target groups
Independent, proactive, and customer-oriented working style
