Location: Kiel (hybrid)
This role is a part time role of +30 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements will be considered for this role, in-line with the needs of the business.
About Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division (COGMD ) – Medium Speed Engines (MSE)

The opportunity
The HR Manager for Medium Speed Engines (MSE) is the leader of the HR organization for the business. In this role, you will be the onsite HR leader for 300 employees in Kiel, Germany, with additional business partnership responsibility for employees in Singapore, China, Dubai and the USA. Leading a HR team of 4, you will work closely with the leadership team and senior leaders to implement the business strategy from a people perspective.
What you will do:

• Use evidence and data to identify people priorities for the business and address future workforce needs.
  
• Provide guidance on people practices such as engagement, talent and succession planning.
  
• Focus on creating an effective, automated and efficient HR operation.
  
• Create and implement talent and development initiatives.
  
• Be the HR lead on projects linked to the business strategy.
  
• Act as a local point of people expertise.
  
• Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders and the HR team to help improve business efficiency.
