I’m hiring for a Network and System Administrator on behalf of a global service provider specializing in logistics, facilities management, and information technology for government and commercial clients. The company delivers comprehensive solutions, including infrastructure support, supply chain management, and critical IT services. They focus on enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability through innovative and reliable service offerings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 2 support for any Network Administrator tasks for the customer
  • Oversee the operation, troubleshooting, restoration, configuration, installation, and security of networks, wireless access points, wireless control systems, and associated devices
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks, services, and unit-level maintenance on CAT-5/6 and fiber communication systems according to industry communication standards
  • Manage the GCMC Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Install and rebuild Windows servers, configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, and access permissions in line with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot a mid-sized virtual environment
This role is remote in Germany.

Essential:
  • 3+ years system administration experience
  • 2+ years network experience
  • Proficient in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a VMware environment
  • CCNA certification
  • Fluent English
