Specific Tasks
- Ensuring the standard processes developed by the IME after process release and transfer to series production (handover window 3 months before SOP to 3 months after SOP).
- Analysis of production processes for weak points, deviations from the standard processes. Define and initiate measures if necessary, taking economic aspects into account.
- Responsible for the design (creation of requirement specifications) and implementation of stable and efficient manufacturing processes, taking into account the criteria (cycle time/availability/energy consumption/durability, etc.) for machines, equipment and tools
- Responsible for the permanent optimization and further development of the assigned production process
- Measurements, tests as part of series production and optimization measures including R@R's, to control and permanently ensure the process parameters.
- Optimize the materials and manufacturing processes of existing products.
- Creation, approval and monitoring of process-relevant tool and machine drawings after process optimizations (changes).
- Collaboration in the complaint process in the creation and processing of technical measures and ensuring familiarization with the PFMEA
- Participation in the internal and external complaint process (lessons learned).
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the standard documents for existing production and production logistics processes. (Standard work, set-up documentation, modification of operating instructions, machine parameters, spare parts documentation)
- Create and design improvements independently using the given CAD tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor / Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The equivalent in experience is also acceptable with evidence of exceptional ability.
- Experience in working in and acting with multiple groups of professionals.
- 5+ years’ Experience with CAD software SOLID WORKS and CREO Vers.8,
- Basic Knowledge of quality tools (5- Why, APQP, 8-d Report) would be welcome.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodology.
- Mastery of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project.
- Fluent in German and/ advanced English language skills.
- Previous experience in automotive stamping/ die manufacturing.
- Solidly organized, with meticulous attention to detail.
