About the Role:

Join our dynamic consulting team in Wesel, Germany, as a Project Manager. In this critical role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality CIS services within a military environment. Reporting to the Principal Service Manager but working with considerable autonomy, you will ensure the readiness and quality of Deployable CIS infrastructure, manage complex configurations, and drive strategic projects to meet evolving operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Management: Oversee Deployable CIS infrastructure, ensuring it meets Service Level Agreements (SLA) and provides top-notch engineering support.
• Configuration & Change Management: Maintain asset configuration states, manage change processes, and uplift configuration baselines in line with operational demands.
• Risk & Budget Management: Conduct risk assessments, manage budgets, and support the Principal Service Manager in the development of annual operations and maintenance budgets.
• Contractor Oversight: Manage contractor resources and ensure their services meet our rigorous standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Contribute to system documentation and provide critical inputs for SLA reports and change management processes.
• Team Leadership: Support and mentor a team of professionals, ensuring their growth and the delivery of exceptional service.

Your Profile:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of related experience, or, exceptionally, 10+ years of progressive expertise in lieu of a degree.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation and Intermediate Certifications in Service Design/PPO, Service Transition/RCV, Service Operation/OSA, or Continual Service Improvement.
• Experience: Extensive experience in IT services engineering, planning, operations, and management. Proven track record as a line manager with strong motivational and mentoring skills.
• Skills: Expertise in Configuration and Change Management processes, budget planning, project management, and report writing.
• Clearance : The candidate must hold a valid Security Clearance as a prerequisite for this position.

Desirable Qualifications:

• ITIL Expert/Managing Professional, PRINCE 2 Foundation, or PMI PMP.
• Experience with military telecommunications and working in military environments.
