We are looking for a Sales Manager (f/m/d) based in Berlin to join the Sales Central Region. The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting sales and business development, especially in Germany, together with a team of highly motivated people based in different European locations.

Responsibilities

Leadership throughout the sales cycle: From prospect identification, tendering, and deal optimization to negotiation and closure of wind farm supply contracts
Establish solid customer relationships, build trust, and understand the customers´ business case to develop ideal value propositions
Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization and across group functions
Monitor and assess market trends and customer/competitor activities
Handle internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to the development of Vestas commercial strategy

Qualifications

Master's in Business or Engineering degree or equivalent
Solid experience in sales, commercial sales or business development, e.g. with a proven history in the renewable energy or other project sector
Contract negotiation skills and experience with complex technical contracts
Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
Fluent in German and English

Competencies

Effectively deliver results under agile conditions
Solid communication skills and natural challenger
Influence internal stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organisation
Financial understanding and investigative capabilities
Ability to work under time-sensitive environments and willingness to go the "extra mile"
