About:
We are a remote-first climate tech start-up based in Germany that uses technology to advance the vision of a net-zero economy.

Simplifying calculations of carbon emissions is our aspiration, aiming to enable companies to take data-driven decision-making on lowering their carbon footprint as efficient and swift as possible, granting them transparency and control over their own emission reports.
We’re still young, and ideas and developments are fast and changing, but we’re aiming for stable enterprise software while scaling up the already existing customers we've built over the last 4 years.

The Sales team is leading the next phase of commercial growth and has significant impact on the future of our company. Following a consultative sales and outbound approach the team is focusing on five specific sectors within the DACH region. Winning these sectors within the region is the first step towards positioning KMX as the go-to, trusted experts in carbon footprint accounting and enabling organisations across the globe to reach their net-zero targets.

Why is this so important? To have maximum impact on the climate crisis, we must work with customers for the long-term. To achieve this, we have to make sure their initial experience with Klima.Metrix (KMX) is exceptional.

What you do:
As a Sales Manager at Klima.Metrix you will

  • Developme of own sales strategy and sales success
  • Be responsible for customer acquisition / sales (including on-site appointments)
  • Do Customer consulting, partly in cooperation with consultants or product managers
  • Independently prepare documents and customer appointments, as well as drafting of contracts
  • Build deeper business relationships with existing customers by developing more areas of the customer and/or selling additional services
  • Contribute to the further development of the product: defining requirements based on customer feedback
  • work with customers all over Europe

What you need to fit in well with us:

  • Advanced experience in a full-cycle quota carrying software or technology sales role - ideally with Saa S solutions that require explanation
  • You have professional experience in the field of sustainability, or even better, in the environment of carbon accounting products or services
  • You have a talent for dealing with customers and you find it easy to build customer relationships
  • You are an excellent communicator who can coordinate effectively with internal teams and external customers
  • You are resourceful, self-starter and can simultaneously handle a variety of tasks, deadlines, and challenges in parallel
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality
  • You have above-average analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as a strong problem-solving orientation.
  • You have a high willingness to travel in Germany, and if necessary, in other European countries.
  • An own network in the field of sustainability would be an additional plus
  • You speak fluent German and English (this is an absolute must!)
  • Have an impact; be involved and do something incredible!
