We are currently looking for a:
Senior Chemist (m/w/d) for R&D Food & Beverage Europe

Your responsibilities:
As Senior Chemist you will work within global projects in the space of membrane cleaning, digital innovation and water reuse+recycling / chemical circularity within our industrial division.

You will join the team of the center of excellence for membrane cleaning and water/chemical circularity located in Monheim, Germany which is globally responsible for our Ultrasil TM Membrane Cleaning range and Digital membrane solutions. In close collaboration with our customer from the e.g. Dairy, Brew & Beverage, Food we develop solutions in the lab and upscale in our pilot center testing on membrane plants. We work closely with all regions around the globe to bring new innovations to our customers.

In the role you would work design, plan, execute, analyze and report lab and pilot experiments, respectively. The work includes test on membrane module and flat sheet pilot units in the Ecolab facilities. Independent management of regional sub projects within global innovation initiatives. Also, the execution and support of field trials at EU customer sites is part of the role.

In this role, you will get to:

Contribute to the development of differentiated technologies in the space of membrane cleaning, digital membrane solutions and solutions in the space of chemical and water circularity
Develop capabilities within taking responsibility of regional sub projects
Invent new product concepts by performing screening in lab, pilot and field test at customer sites

Your Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry, Chemical Laboratory Training (“Chemielaborant”) or related technical field
2 years professional background in Chemistry based R&D work
Commitment for traveling for customer interaction and field testing
Fluent in written and spoken English is a MUST
