Senior Electrical Project Engineer

For our Global Competence Center Cement (CCC) - Projects we are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer (f/m/d).
The Heidelberg Competence Center Cement (CCCs) are responsible for the development and execution of all major or complex capex projects.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you are the technical expert in electrical engineering in investment projects enforcing and living Heidelberg Materials ́ mission of zero accidents and maximum environmental sustainability while at all time maintaining quality, budget, and time for completion.
You will report to the Head of Cement Projects.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
  • You are the technical expert in electrical engineering and work as a sub-project manager in running sub- projects in electrical engineering.
  • You conduct scenario assessments and studies for investment projects in electrical engineering.
  • You calculate electrical investment budgets for small, midsize, and large-scale investment projects for different stages.
  • You conduct cost and time controlling as well as status reporting for sub projects.
  • You evaluate technical and commercial offers and select suppliers for small and midsize projects.
  • You support electrical procurement and contracting for small, midsize, and large-scale investment projects.
  • You monitor technical developments and create technical design criteria as well as standards for Heidelberg Materials.
  • You proactively manage health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's health & safety performance.
YOUR PROFILE
  • You have a university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in engineering companies engaged in heavy industries, building materials industries or equivalent.
  • You have demonstrated experience of supporting small and midsize investment projects in an international environment with electrical know how.
  • You have basic project management skills.
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking and acting is a must.
  • Your social competence is high, and you have excellent team spirit as well as intercultural understanding.
  • You have very good English skills, additional language skills are an advantage.
  • You are willing to extensively travel abroad.
