(Senior) Engineer Wind Turbine Control (m/f/d): In the Wind Turbine Control group, the focus is on software development for the control and automation technology of the wind turbine.

YOUR TASKS

• • New and further development of control technology functions in the area of operational control of the wind turbine
  • Technical clarification and creation of software specifications
  • Implementation of software functions according to the requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC)
  • Definition of test and acceptance criteria for the qualification of the wind turbine software
  • Quality assurance through software tests on the Hi L setup in the software laboratory
  • Coordination and execution of software tests on site at the wind turbine
  • Creation of the related software documentation
  • Close cooperation with various departments in an international environment
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• • Successfully completed technical degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in PLC software development according to IEC61131 desirable
  • Experienced in defining requirements for software functions, preferably agile software development according to SCRUM
  • Good knowledge of different communication protocols (e.g. Profinet, Modbus TCP) and good knowledge of MS-Office and especially MS-Access is required
  • Knowledge in the use of Matlab/SIMULINK is preferable
  • Fluent English, German and/or Spanish desirable
  • High results orientation and quality awareness
  • Initiative as well as responsible, structured and sustainable way of working
  • Teamwork and communication skills
