Your role

• Maintain and regularly update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience (at least 2 years) in accounting, with a focus on general ledger.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel and VAT.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Fluency in German and English - with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
