Senior Manager SCM, EU Heavy/Bulky and Services

The Amazon EU Heavy Bulky and Services team is looking for a Senior Manager Supply Chain Management (m/f/d). The role is ideally based in Munich or London but could also be based in Paris, Madrid or Milan.

Join Amazon's fast-paced Heavy Bulky & Services division and own the end-to-end supply chain optimization for our large/heavy products like appliances, TVs, furniture and more. In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Improve product ordering, forecasting and strategic placement across our fulfillment network
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to balance cost, speed and customer experience
  • Identify efficiencies and implement solutions to reduce returns and improve returns CX
  • Thrive in an ambiguous, rapidly-evolving environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders
The ideal candidate has proven supply chain management experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complexity. Key job responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day operations: driving continuous improvements on product availability and inventory health
  • Speed: improving our internal systems to ensure we delight customer by offering fast deliveries where it matters most to customers
  • Channel strategy: developing and implementing a strategy to place products in the economically most viable fulfillment channel
  • Returns: reducing costs on customer returns while at the same time improving returns CX
  • Team management: Managing and developing a team of (senior) program and product managers
  • Experience in optimizing a supply chain for heavy and bulky products
  • Desire and ability to learn quickly with strong appetite for knowledge
  • Experience on continuous Cx O level business communication and decision making.
