ABOUT US
Datasensing was born in 2022 from the merger between Datalogic's Sensor & Safety and Machine Vision business unit and M.D. Micro Detectors, acquired in 2021.
The new company therefore faces the market with 100 years of experience, having combined two realities that have made the history of sensors in Italy since the early 1970s.
Datasensing is developing, manufacturing, and supplying Machine Vision, Sensor and Safety, offering more than 200 product lines and 22500 standard and custom part numbers.
The company is focused on industrial automation detection, inspection, measurement, safety and guidance application, from production to internal logistics of goods.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

For our sales team in Germany we are looking for a Factory Automation Territory Account Manager who shares our passion for sensors, safety technology and image processing products. Be part of it and apply with us!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • After a detailed training in the products as well as in sales, you will take over the acquisition and support of customers in a defined DACH sales territory;
  • You will expand and maintain existing customer and sales partner relationships, develop appropriate offers based on customer requirements and needs, and conduct contract negotiations;
  • Prepare and conduct product presentations at customer sites or trade shows;
  • Through your sales activities, you will develop new business areas and market opportunities, helping to achieve sales targets for the defined sales territory;
  • You will contribute to the development of sales strategies;
  • You will work from your home office or from the Langen (Hesse) office and will support your customers in the field in your region;
  • Through your ideas, you will make a lasting contribution to the success of the company.


REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification as a technician/master craftsman;
  • Ideally, you have initial professional experience in field sales (preferably in the field of automation technology);
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • You enjoy dealing with customers and know how to inspire and convince people;
  • In addition to your strong communication and negotiation skills, you have a high degree of willingness to travel nationally;
  • You work independently and on your own responsibility and convince with your competence;
  • Ideally, you already have knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and are familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel;
  • Good English skills
