Working Student Java Developer (f/m/d) in a company contributing to a safer world

You will help us build new services in the next generation of software architecture while also maintaining our legacy software. Join a talented, international and encouraging team and start your career in software development.
Responsibilities
  • Develop containerized microservices and new products using Java/Go
  • Contribute to the planning and development of our enterprise products, exploring innovative solutions to enhance our market position
  • Identify potential problems in the development strategy and work to prevent them
  • Collaborate with other teams to create roadmaps and architectures to optimize software features
  • Coordinate with other R&D to help our teams align their work with the overall development architecture
  • Be an active member of a cross-functional team, open to exploring new technologies and ways of thinking
Your profile
  • Enrolled student in informatics, computer science, or similar
  • Good knowledge of Java 11+
  • Understanding of software architectures, including monoliths and microservices
  • Good level of English (at least B2)
First experience with the following tech stack:
  • Basic Linux commands
  • ANSI Shell, Bash
  • Spring MVC, Boot
  • Message broker (NATS, Rabbit MQ, or Kafka)
  • Containerization (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
  • Microservice design
  • Monoliths
  • Gradle
A big plus:
  • Experience with PKI, S/MIME, Open PGP, X.509 certificates, PGP keys
  • Knowledge of email technology, including SMTP, Java Mail and Bouncy Castle
