We are looking for a highly motivated Accounting Assistant to be part of our team in Athens and to be involved in servicing our team and management through our firm’s Accounting & Finance Team.
Opportunity description

Being part of RSM’s Accounting & Finance Team and dealing with the full spectrum of the department’s activities. More analytically:

Providing high quality accounting services.

Assist in the bookkeeping cycle, process invoices, daily transactions and expenses.

Update and maintain the accounting database with data entry and reports.

Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.

Comprehending the needs and characteristics of each project and respond to queries with a spherical manner.

Collaborate with the Head of Departments in the team for data collection and analysis.

Assist in the generation of the corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc.)

Candidate requirements

Prior professional experience in Accounting & Tax Advisory or Bookkeeping is considered an asset

Degree in Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration or similar field

Fluent spoken and written English

Excellent IT skills

Experience with Accounting & ERP systems

Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills

Committed to excellence; efficient and effective when it comes to deadlines
