Position Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable teams within the Accounting & Finance department
- Oversee team activities including invoicing, treasury function, preparation of legal documentation for debt cases, month-end closing tasks, and the development and optimization of AR processes in the ERP system
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments such as Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Business Operations to address ad hoc issues, implement new procedures, and meet reporting requirements
- Prepare and submit monthly tax returns, including JL10, VAT returns, VIES, Intrastat, and withholding tax filings
- Oversee and manage My Data
- Perform accounting duties, including accounting and commercial reconciliations for large data files related to customers, suppliers, revenue, expenses, loans, and IFRS 16.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing tasks, and actively contribute to the annual financial audit as well as ad-hoc tax audits
- University Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics from a top tier university in Greece or abroad
- 7-10 years of experience in Αccounting
- Experience in Leading Accounting teams.
- Professional experience in Big 4/ Fintech or within a fast-paced environment is considered a plus
- Solid skills in Αccounting and Τax due diligence
- Strong skills in analyzing data combining several excel spreadsheets
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Orderliness and ability to work independently
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate a number of tasks with a wide range of stakeholders in a startup environment
