attica department stores is currently in search of an experienced Αssistant Department Store Manager for the department store in Thessaloniki at Mediterranean Cosmos.
Role purpose: The jobholder will be reporting to the Department Store Manager and will be responsible for supporting the aforementioned in enforcing operational policies, sales & customer satisfaction, staff training & development in cooperation with the HR Department, and stock management in accordance with overall company sales policy.

Role purpose: The jobholder will be reporting to the Department Store Manager and will be responsible for supporting the aforementioned in enforcing operational policies, sales & customer satisfaction, staff training & development in cooperation with the HR Department, and stock management in accordance with overall company sales policy.
Key accountabilities:
- Directs, coordinates, and controls daily store activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Enforces company policies and procedures, implements the corporate commercial strategy, and collaborates with the Commercial Department to achieve short- and long-term sales goals.
- Tracks sales figures with Floor and Corner Managers, addressing any deviations through targeted actions.
- Monitors stock levels in corners, reporting shortages to the Commercial Department and Management.
- Seeks opportunities to improve store setups for enhanced efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
- Fosters a culture of exceptional customer experience among sales staff.
- Communicates effectively to organize tasks, set priorities, adhere to timelines, and takes initiatives.
- Creates a positive working environment, motivates employees, and inspires enthusiasm to achieve business goals, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Participates in the selection process for store personnel.
- Ensures compliance with agreements with suppliers and vendors regarding their staff.
Skills/Experience Required:
- At least 4 years of working experience in the Fashion industry.
- Experience in people management and training.
- Customer centric and problem – solving personality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Numerical capability.
- Flexibility to work according to a retail schedule.
- Excellent English skills (oral and written).
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications.
