Principia is a producer and developer of renewable energy projects in Greece. The business manages a diversified portfolio of wind, solar, hydropower and integrated battery storage technologies to help accelerate Greece’s transition to a cleaner and more sustainable future. As of June 2024, its portfolio consists of 65 plants under operation with a total installed capacity of 566MW, and an additional 2 solar parks under construction with a total capacity of 11MW.
Principia was established in March 2024 by its shareholders, Enel Sp A and by a fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management, having previously begun operations in 2008 as part of Enel Green Power in Greece.

What you will do:

• Perform in-depth market research to identify industry trends, potential growth areas, and emerging opportunities in renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and energy storage.

• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate project performance, potential investments, and operational efficiency.

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for deal structuring, risk assessment, and value creation in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Support contract negotiations and preparation of term sheets, analyzing financial and operational implications for the business.

• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and identify key KPIs for tracking project success and business performance.

• Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements that enhance project efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability goals.

• Generate insights to drive decision-making and highlight areas where the business can gain a competitive advantage.

• Prepare business review reports and presentations, based on data analysis.

• Facilitate the investment process through data analysis, preparation of presentations for top management, and cross-departmental coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the renewables, energy, or sustainability sectors.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of the renewables industry, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and challenges.
