Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Digital and Social Media Director based in Athens. In this senior position, you will develop and execute digital strategies and social media initiatives that enhance brand presence, engagement, and growth across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with our creative, marketing, and communications teams to produce innovative campaigns aligned with client goals and PROGRESSIVE’s commitment to excellence.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Digital and Social Media Director based in Athens. In this senior position, you will develop and execute digital strategies and social media initiatives that enhance brand presence, engagement, and growth across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with our creative, marketing, and communications teams to produce innovative campaigns aligned with client goals and PROGRESSIVE’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive digital and social media strategies that elevate client brands and align with market trends.
- Lead the creation and execution of paid and organic social media campaigns, content calendars, and audience growth strategies.
- Create and manage digital media content that aligns with client branding and objectives.
- Design creative digital media assets that capture attention and drive engagement.
- Identify insights, new ideas, and emerging tools/technologies to enhance digital impact.
- Oversee social media accounts and develop, execute, and monitor social media campaigns.
- Measure and report on the results of social media campaigns to optimize performance.
- Craft compelling copy for various digital platforms (social media posts, newsletters, websites).
- Collaborate with the communication team to develop marketing/design ideas for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably in an agency setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and brand impact.
- Ability to lead and mentor a digital team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English, with experience interacting with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Decision-making abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Creative thinking and capability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Analytical approach with keen attention to detail.
