About the role
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting. The position will be reporting to the Finance Director.


The Financial Strategy Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting in the annual budget preparation, reporting and controlling, as well as the forecasting and explaining variances of actuals versus budget, aiming at facilitating and supporting the effective managerial decision-making. The position will require interaction with cross functional teams.


Main Responsibilities

• Supporting in defining reporting packages and dashboards to enable business management to continuously measure and optimize business performance in all key functional areas.
• Manage financial planning and analysis activities, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Conduct financial modelling and forecasting to support organizational goal.
• Engage in strategic analysis and scenario planning with management.
• Consolidates, reviews and validates proposed budget submissions from different business areas for accuracy and completeness, and partner with related stakeholders for improvements.
• Analyze variance to forecast, budget, monthly reporting, and prior year to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepares standard reports, periodically, as well as ad hoc reports to support the controlling and forecasting processes.
• Participates in the creation, update and maintenance of financial models and detailed forecasts of the Company's future operations.

Relevant skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited college or university. MSc or MBA is considered as an asset.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferable in FP&A.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Advanced PC skills in Excel.
• Financial Modeling is considered a strong asset.
• Very good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Analytical thinking and critical ability.
• Teamwork mentality and ability to work independently.
• Attention-to-detail and Organizational skills.
