Responsibilities
- Be an outstanding teammate and assist the development of workflows, and integrations with web services.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, hard-working production applications.
- Focus on coding and debugging
- Build high-quality reusable code which could be used in the future
- Run powerful technologies to improve applications
- Support our progressive senior leader in daily tasks
- Collaborate with others from our diverse worldwide tech team
- Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving
- Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs and engineering processes
- Contribute to incremental upgrades and timely integration of application code changes and testing

- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Java Software Engineer and Object-Oriented programming
- Previous experience in Spring Boot / Quarkus and/or Apache Camel
- Experience in developing web services, web service APIs, as well as implementing code to consume existing APIs
- Experience in both SQL & No SQL Database technologies.
- Knowledge of project lifecycles, understanding project lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and CI/CD
- Experience in working with Dev Ops teams and Jenkins pipelines
- Experience in unit testing and functional testing frameworks such as JUnit or NUnit
- Familiarity with common software engineering tools and practices (Git, Maven, etc)
- Experience in Azure Cloud – (deploying / monitoring / managing the apps - using Kubernetes and/or Customized tools) will be considered a plus.
- Previous experience in message queues (e.g. Kafka) will be considered a plus.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to cooperate with both executives and technical staff in Greek and English
- Familiarity with Integration patterns with Backend systems.
