About the position
The Junior Accountant will collaborate with all key stakeholders both on the delivery of ongoing day to day processes that are within the remit of Finance Operations as well as any specified ad hoc projects. The main responsibility is raising and posting invoices, including VAT, in the local systems. Including the purchase of goods and services and administrative tasks.

Duties and responsibilities
- Posting and processing journal entries
- Updating accounts receivable and payable
- Applying transportation cost and VAT exemptions to customers with paper orders
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to company’s accounting and financial guidelines
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Assist Senior Accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a junior accountant (2-3 years)
- Good command of the English language
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central is a plus but not required
